Description

The Rubidoux site is located in Riverside, CA. It is operated by the South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD). It is part of the National Core Network (NCore) and the Photochemical Assessment Monitoring Stations (PAMS). Within ASCENT it is paired with the LA-Pico Rivera and Joshua Tree sites. The Rubidoux site serves as an urban site downwind of the Los Angeles Basin and upwind of Joshua Tree, which makes the pair ideal to study evolution of aerosol composition and size as air masses are transported inland.
